Mrs. Nitika Millicent Patrick from the Micropaleontology Laboratory presented the paper “Grain Size Analysis as a Tool for Reconstructing Plio–Pleistocene Indian Summer Monsoon Variability in the Western Bay of Bengal  at the 30th Indian Colloquium on Micropaleontology and Stratigraphy, IIT Bhubaneswar.

Dr. Satabdi Mohanty presented the paper “Unravelling the dynamics of the Late Holocene Indian Summer Monsoon using end-members Modelling and benthic foraminiferal assemblages at the 30th Indian Colloquium on Micropaleontology and Stratigraphy, IIT Bhubaneswar. 

Mr. Koustav Chattopadhyay, from the Micropaleontology Laboratory, has been offered an opportunity to undertake research at Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), Belgium, for a three-month period from July to September 2026. Kudos to him.

Mrs. Nitika Millicent Patrick has received the "Best Poster Presentation Award" at the 30th Indian Colloquium on Micropaleontology and Stratigraphy, IIT Bhubaneswar. Kudos to her.
